Did the SEIU buy Obama's election?

that is not proof corporations have spent more than 60 million dollars to elect a president....

are you joking?

No, it is proof they will, and I am not joking, not even laughing.

The Koch brothers of Koch Industries, the second-largest private corporation in the country, are billionaires ten times over and have become the center of the fundraising universe for the Republican Party.

its not proof that they are going to spend that to elect a president. that is not what they claimed. further, you tried to pass that off as proof of TM's claim that corps have already spent more than 60 million to elect a president...

fail

No. Its not. In this past election 7 of the top 10 donors to campaigns were republican backed PACs. They will spend EVEN MORE for the presidential nominee.

They may have not already, but thanks to Citizens United case, they will certainly buy their republican president.

so you are ok with unions spending 60 million dollars to elect a president?

yes or no

and provide proof corporations have spent more than 60 million to elect a president.

T(ruth)D(oesn't)M(atter) is full of shit as she is usually....belay that...ALWAYS is.

It is apparent, from our knowledge of this nincompoop's record, that the answer will be the predictable YES, whatever this idiot says.

And, also, this certified Obamarrhoidal stooge will not come up with a name of any corporation other than, maybe, General Electric (GE)......but then General Electric is Obami Salaami's Numero Uno Corporate Supporter( G.E.'s CEO Jeffy IMMELT.....SURPRISE !!! ...is on Obami's Cabinent as Chief Econ Advisor !!!! other than Fannie Mae, whose CEO Frank Raines walked off with $100 million (for successfully destroying our Nation's Financial System)....yeah....the one that was appointed as Obami Salaami's CHIEF ECONOMIC ADVISOR soon after the Fannie & Freddie Debacle......then evaporated into the murky depths of DEM's Financial Heaven reserved for the more successful Dem Crooks......as soon as the spotlight was focused on this arrogant appointment.

BTW, let's not forget that John Johnson, the CEO of Freddie Mac.....was equally, if not more corrupt, than Franky Raines ..... this Super Crook was ALSO appointed into the "Pristine Pure" Obami Salaami Cabinet, shortly after the Financial Debacle.....as Chairman for the selection of our Veep, Biden. Needless to say....This fucking DEM Super Crook also evaporated instantaneously once the spotlighted focused on this Dem arsehole.

Does this phase any of our ever moral Dem Chest thumpers ???????...... Would they acknowledge the culpability of the DEM'S PRIMARY ...if not SOLE RESPONSIBILITY for our Nation's Financial Debacle as the result of the FANNIE & FREDDIE DEM Skullduggery, and stop HOWLING at Dubya for the Nation's Financial RUIN, when Dubya had lost all credibility in the Nation and the Corrupt Dems controlled Congress for the last two years of his Presidency:Chairman of the House Finances: Bwarney Fwank & the non-convicted criminal Chris Dodd, Chairman of the Senate Finances ?????

I'll let you guess the answer.

and this is your best attempt at showing your intelligence? lol

no surprise that the liberals are hypocrites on this, if this was about a corp you would be screaming bloody murder....

i thought dems were against this kind of thing....they are furious over Citizens and constantly claim corporations buy elections....but apparently its ok for a union to spend $60 million dollars to elect a president...

What..???

You thought the Dems were AGAINST foreign donations???

"To refresh the recollection of the suborn-again, Trie is the Little Rock restaurateur who stands accused of helping steer nearly $1 million from foreign sources into electing or defending President Clinton. (On Charlie's 22 visits to the White House, I never encouraged him to take a powder _ right?)"

How much from Communist China for the Repub?

Andy Stern, Service Employees International Union president

"We spent a fortune to elect Barack Obama — $60.7 million to be exact — and we’re proud of it."

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009...ment-and-card/

If our friends on the left had the gift of irony, they might enjoy this tidbit about the behavior of the SEIU while it was spending that $60 million:

... while lobbying for the EFCA, the SEIU fired 75 of its 220 employees, ‘cause, you know, they needed that $60 million for Obama, so the employees filed an NLRB unfair practices suit. (NATIONAL BRIEFING - LABOR - Union Is Accused of Violations - Brief - NYTimes.com)

This is what Andy Stern, SEIU president said: “This is not a financial issue. We need to respond to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity our members created by helping elect President Obama.” Once again, why join a union?

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, AFSCME is the United States' largest single contributor to political campaigns, having donated more than US$38 million since 1990.[12] The organization contributes almost exclusively to Democratic Party campaigns; since 1990 the ratio of Democratic to Republican contributions by the AFSCME has exceeded 98:1. In addition to combating the privatization mentioned above, key political objectives for the group include raising the minimum wage and opposing the substitution of vacation time for overtime pay due workers.[12] In June 2008, AFSCME, along with MoveOn.org, spent over US$500,000 on a television advertisement critical of the presumed Republican presidential nominee John McCain.[13]

Now to answer the question.
Hell yes Obama was bought and paid for by THE UNIONS.

He Represents only a few in this country, those who agree with him and his "VISIONS" of Transforming this COUNTRY, as he like to say. the rest of us can go to hell as far as he is concerned, we are all just a thorn in his and Comrades in Arms ass.
