Did the election mandate that the House do as they are told by the Senate?

Yanno...............the Dems won extra seat in not only the Senate, but the House as well.

Considering that the GOP has finally said that revenue was now on the table, well, I guess that the Dems and Obama DO have a mandate.

I challenge anyone to say that the GOP won more seats than they lost this election.

Getting less than 51% of the vote is hardly a mandate for anything. The republican road block was left in place for a reason.

If they keep up the roadblock, they may not have to worry about it after 2014. Voters want to see progress, which means working together on solving problems, not just saying no.

But the dems have the senate and white house.

And, any bill raising revenue has to originate in the house, or do you want to just throw out the Constitution and just let the commies rule?

And if anything wnats to go beyond the house they need to work with the senate. America is tired of congress acting like children.

Raise taxes. I'm sure the economy will take off like a rocket.

Did the election cause the Republican Party to lose a significant amount of political capital?

Yes.

Political capital Obama gave back when he lied about Benghazi.
