Tom Delay was just cleared of all charges after a brutal six year long Democrat A*shole Witch Hunt that ultimately led to him being forced out of Congress. I saw some Democrats on this board whining about possible Witch Hunts coming if the Republicans regain some power. Well all i can say to that is...Uh yea duh!!! All that time & money spent on destroying Tom Delay yet no charges? All that time & money spent on a stupid perjury conviction of Scooter Libby? Yea you Democrats know a lot about unjust Witch Hunts. Tom Delay and his family were viciously smeared by you guys and the man's career was destroyed. Personally i'm looking forward to some Witch Hunts that will destroy some Democrats. The Texas ethics case against DeLay remains active, however. There is a court hearing scheduled for Aug. 24.

DeLay and two colleagues were indicted almost five years ago on charges of violating state election laws and money laundering for an alleged scheme to accept corporate money that could not be used in a state election for a candidate and then laundering it through the Republican National Committee. DeLay's Texans for a Republican Majority helped the GOP take control of the Texas House in the 2002 elections, setting the stage for a bitter congressional redistricting fight in 2003.

Ironically, DeLay's situation seems to mirror Charlie Rangel's. DeLay was forced out by his Republican colleagues who didn't want his legal issues to be a issue in a election year. Now Charlie is facing the same hot water from the Dems.

Rangel & Waters aren't being smeared by the Republicans nearly as much as the Democrats viciously smeared Delay. If you can't see this big difference then you just choose not to see it. In fact i actually see the Democrats letting Rangel and Waters off the hook at some point. That wont surprise me if it happens. The Dems got Delay,Libby,and Gonzales and they spent a whole lot of time and money conducting those Witch Hunts. Now it's time for things to come back around. The Dems deserve it. That's just how i feel anyway.
