Did Ron Paul just say to Fix the GOP not go 3rd Party?...

I wish there were more Ron Paul's and less Sarah Palin's in the GOP.
Ironically enough, Sarah Palin was on Ron Paul's list of VP choices.

I guess even the "great ones" can make some huge mistakes every now and again.

Palin continues to be a force to be Reckoned with,m thus the attacks on her. Oddly enough her book was a best seller before publishing...and THUS the attacks upon her.

but nominating her is an automatic re-election for the ossiah. i hope to god she stays OUT.

You do realize that it isn't a "best seller" just because of the pre-orders, right?

And yeah, a guy that she endorsed boldly (and the guy lost), helped the Demmies get an extra seat in the House. She SURE IS a demon ready to possess the political process!!

Yeah I realize that. Profound thanks.

M'kay, pardon my sarcasm and I'll be real with you for a minute...

I don't understand why endorsing someone boldly and confidently who loses, makes you such a political demon? I'm not saying everyone you endorse is going to be a winner, but I think there is also the concept of being "prideful."

There are plenty of other people that are really good to take seriously...

because people like Perot come into the equation and the plurality is not satisfied.

I don't believe that. I was watching a documentary on McCain picking Palin and the guy said Palin wasn't even hardly googleable when he first heard McCain announce her as his pick.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but I wonder if that's just something you heard or maybe someone else made that up. You know, like Michael Jackson stories. Half of them aren't even true. Like I heard he has hundreds or thousand of songs recorded and unreleased. Could you imagine?

Anyways, if that's true, wow! Ron Paul considered Palin? Well, she does have roots with the AIP and Ron Paul is very libertarian. I can see that.

He's right in the end. If a Third Party Candidate were to run in 2012 it would be a monumental disaster for the Republican Party. The Third Party Candidate to run would likely be a Conservative-leaning Candidate and that would only take votes away from the Republican Party Candidate. That would then only open the door to a massive Democratic Party Victory. The Socialists would just win too easily. So in the end it's that old "Lesser of two Evils" thing. The Republican Party just needs to unite and start listening to real Conservatives like Dr. Paul more often. This can be done. It's just going to take a lot of work. Dr. Paul definitely nailed this one.

I know your right but I'd like to believe your wrong. If the real conservatives which include most of the rebuplican base voted for the candidate they believed in and not simply the candidate that the RNC backs it could work out. But realistically if the GOP tries to run another John McCain, your right we would be handing Obama a second term on a silver platter.

I'm not making him a DEMON persey, but questioning the motive with staying with the Republicans for so long as he has stated his dissatification with them. It's an HONEST question, and to the ROOT of my questions of him. And I thank YOU and LibocalypseNow for answering my questions honestly.

Is this really that difficult? I don't want to be a FLY in your ointment...but I am keeping it straight and HONEST...

I could go into RABID DIPSHIT mode and say Ron Paul is an Idiot can't I? But I haven't done that. I am asking honest questions of him.

When I was using the word "demon," I was speaking of Sarah Palin, and not in "that" way. When I said "demon," it was more like: a person on fire who's relevant to some cause and someone you don't want to mess with. IOW, "a force to be reckoned with."

Go on; be honest. If you think he's an "idiot," say why. Be real!

I was making a different response because I felt I was a bit too base with my sarcasm, but then again I tend to get carried away sometimes.

Sarcasm noted...and a moment of Honesty as you had to highlight the sarcasm.

Thanks.

I think Paul maybe should stay with the GOP so he can help return them to their true Conservative Constitutional roots. Otherwise, The Liberal Republicans will continue to committ political suicide every single time they regain power by electing another internationalist, open borders during a joke on terra, dunce like Bush.

It will take decades to build a strong 3rd party who can compete with these so called two party, really one party controlled by the masters of puppets, system that the bankers now fully control. ~BH

Yea perfectly stated BH. Dr. Paul knows all about the Third Party thing. If he is saying this then just go ahead and take it to the bank. The Republican Party can change but the party elite must start listening to Dr. Paul a bit more for that to happen. That's how i feel anyway.

It's a nice dream anyway I guess. I hope something changes though. I don't know how much longer this back and forth Republicans bad and Democrats good and Democrats good and Republicans bad merry go round crap set up for the sheople minded in order to keep everyone herded like androids can continue before we truly fall like Rome. Course, I am sure guys like Jake can't wait for that day.......~BH

Poor babies. The people you supported for eight years are universally recognized as incompetant failures. But now you disavow them, and support people with even further right wing nut ideologies. Well, keep it up. November a year from now will be a good day for the Democratic Party if you people get your way.

The history books disagree with you, but it's your right to believe that...
