The Senate Intelligence Committee will hold a closed-door hearing to examine the intelligence delivered to administration officials, how it was reviewed, and why inaccurate information was passed along to the media and American people by the president and his surrogates.

From the start, Rubio said, it was clear that this was not a spontaneous uprising about an anti-Muslim video because of how well-armed the terrorists were and the attack’s multiple waves.

From the time line I heard, the attack started a little after 4pm EDT and went to some time after 11pm EDT. Maobama went to bed at 7pm EDT, hours before the seals died. He's a real piece of shit.

Several Republican lawmakers expressed their frustration with the obvious slow response to the attack, with some claiming that Secretary Hillary Clinton and her State Department are waiting until after the presidential election to conclude the investigation and announce its results. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) and Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA), on Wednesday renewed their demand for documents relating to the attack after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declined to hand over the cables they initially requested.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) believes Obama had political reasons for avoiding calling the Benghazi attack terrorism. “What I believe is that President [Obama] is so fixated on convincing the American people that he has defeated al-Qaeda and that al-Qaeda is no longer a real threat by saying this was a terrorist attack, or by acknowledging a terrorist attack would be looked upon as a defeat for his policies against al-Qaeda,” King says.

“King is 1,000% right! This was another snafu by an incompetent and politicized White House and State Department. The reason for the slow reaction by the White House press corps to the Obama administration ineptitude is their belief in the myth that Obama and Hillary Clinton are political giants, instead of the incompetent Democratic Party hacks they truly are. Did the media forget that Hillary lies at the drop of a hat and her only experience in military affairs is her being married to a draft-dodger,” said former military intelligence officer and New York police detective Michael Snopes.

'Courage was Lacking for Benghazi'

There has been some suggestion that the President's hands were tied in dealing with the 9/11 attack in Benghazi because we had no forces and equipment available to assist the trapped men. Retired Adm. Ace Lyons, former CinCPacFlt takes issue with such a defense:

"The Obama national security team, including CIA, DNI, State Department and the Pentagon, watched and listened to the assault but did nothing to answer repeated calls for assistance. It has been reported that President Obama met with Vice President Joseph R. Biden and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta in the Oval Office, presumably to see what support could be provided. After all, we had very credible military resources within striking distance. At our military base in Sigonella, Sicily, which is slightly over 400 miles from Benghazi, we had a fully-equipped Special Forces unit with both transport and jet strike aircraft prepositioned. Certainly this was a force much more capable than the 22-man force from our embassy in Tripoli.

"I know those Special Forces personnel were ready to leap at the opportunity. There is no doubt in my mind they would have wiped out the terrorists attackers. Also I have no doubt that Admiral William McRaven, Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, would have had his local commander at Sigonella ready to launch; however, apparently he was countermanded -- by whom? We need to know.

Did Obama Watch While They Fought for their Lives?​

They fought for their lives for seven hours. 9/11/ 2012. Benghazi. The White House watched. No help was sent and they died.

Four Americans died in the jihadi attack on our consulate in Benghazi. Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, two retired SEALS who were working as civilian security specialists in Benghazi, learned that Ambassador Stevens and nine other people at the consulate were under attack and rushed to their defense. The fourth man was Sean Smith, father of three, an Air Force veteran, working for the State Department in Libya.

The White House, the Pentagon, the State Department, and our military monitored the battle in real time starting with the first phone calls directly from Benghazi.

A small military force from Tripoli was dispatched and was able to rescue some personnel hiding in other buildings. Ambassador Stevens remained missing, as did these three men. The fire-fight raged on.
