Did it really happen?

If something happened pre internet and google has no search results did it really happen?

Not according to some of our moderators. Even though the rule clearly states you need only source an article or story or copyrighted material, we have moderators that demand an internet link and Gunny backs them up.

A competently cited hard source should be enough if it's about copyright protection, IMO. The problem is when folks give a copy and paste from "Joe Blow's Book" and leave it at that. That's just downright sloppy, among other things.

Throw a properly formatted citation at them and they should back down. If they don't, then tell them to google it themselves.

"Joe Blow's Book" was self published and only sold 23 copies over 16 years during international ANSWER protest .It was filled with vile lies about the secret sex life of internet drama queens .
