Echo may just be conducting a test of marriage, setting out on a long trip across the nation with a tent, a beat up car, and a strict budget, they will spend hours in each others company, deciding who drives and to where, and when to stop and when to talk and when to sing and when to open the windows. And if they survive without too much argument or disagreement or quiet or too few laughs, they are on their way to many many anniversaries. If they still talk to each other and find joy in the others presence they will have passed the test that all marriages should start with. And to make the marriage test even harder and more real, they should take with them two children ages 10 and fifteen, a girl and a boy who fight and complain when not occupied, and it should be hot and they should wait in long lines, and if they can still smile after two weeks nothing will ever bother them again and they will last longer than a Kardashian and maybe as long as forever.
