I'm just really curious about how high your chances are to win there. Or are casinos mostly a specifc type of scam?

Unless you're a card counter, for every dollar you bet, you will get back about 95 cents.

Good question. Yes, casinos ARE a scam, but not quite for the reason you think. They do have the odds in their favor, but that isn't how they get you. When you win a small amount, your brain is flooded with reward chemicals, giving you a "high" and making you feel good. You then think that you can win, so you start spending more money in the hopes of getting that good feeling again, and in so doing, you give back to the casino more money than you won.

However...........................there is a way around it and you can still have a good time. Figure out a budget of how much money you are willing to lose, and don't go past that amount. Also, when you win something, you put the money you just won back into the amount you are willing to lose. If you have won more than you are willing to lose, take the excess and put it aside and DON'T TOUCH IT UNTIL YOU LEAVE. When you have lost the amount of money you budgeted for, LEAVE THE CASINO AND GO HOME.

That is how you visit a casino, and also the thing to watch out for. Did you know that many casinos pump extra oxygen in the air to keep you sitting at the tables gambling?

My dad had a similar system.

He'd play a set amount. If he won, he would put HIS money back in his pocket and play for as long as THEIR money held out.

He'd then go home. Takes discipline, but he usually managed to get a good evening out of it 3 of the 7 times he played.

I find gambling to be fun, but I know I'm never going to get rich from it. Maybe twice a year I'll go to the casinos. I set a limit to how much I'm going to gamble (usually $100-$200 bucks) before I get there, and see how long it'll last me.

The last time I went gambling, I ended up leaving Atlantic City with about $200 more than I arrived with - basically won back what I paid for the hotel room.

The time before that, I lost my gambling "allowance" within 2 hours, and spent the rest of the night in my hotel room eating room service and watching TV.

Casinos in general aren't a scam, well at least they don't belong to a typical one. If you play them, first of all you should remember that it's gambling so your wins or loses will be always a total luck and you can't become a better player in this case. For example, in case of card games it's possible to improve your playing skills but that's not possible for casinos, lotteries and so on. And the second thing is that house always wins :eusa_drool: All that casino system is made in such way that you'll anyway give them more money than you'll win. They manipulate people with the idea of easy winning of big money but that's not truth. Personally I like gambling and I'm lucky sometimes in case of casinos but I've never won really a great amount of money. And it's always such a temptation to try more and more after your lucky prize...
So my opinion is that playing casinos for fun is ok but you should always control your budget for them and don't concentrate too much on possible wins.
Also I should mention that real scam exists for them too but it's almost always for online ones casinope.com/ so you should be very careful with choosing them for playing. In better cases you'll just win nothing, in worse ones you can lose all money from your bank cards.

I won 200 bucks in blackjack once. My system was simple, never hit with a chance to bust. Obviously you concede low hands, but the dealer must take hits until they get to seventeen. They bust quite a bit. The dealer said I was lucky, got mad at me, and told me it would never work again. Love to try it again.

I like horse racing in some casinos

i won 4700 plus change once in a casino off of 5 dollars in a penny slot

there was no skill to it at all

pushed a button and a row of magical genies came up

the machine alarm went off and the screen said i won something like 475 thousand pennies

--LOL

it was a small casino they paid me in cash at the window

i gave everyone working a 10 dollar tip

and walked out the door with a pocket of cash

I have already won the horse races on a long shot the horse came to win the race suddenly the machine I think is out of order because the horse was running all wrong.
And I won a nice sum

I'm a player but not a crazy one, it's just one of other hobbies for me. And what I can say... No, not all of them are scam, there are many online casinos in which you can win money. But before starting to play you should remember that main goal of such games is making money from you, not giving you a chance to become rich so the opposite expectations in this case are really funny And game is always a luck so concentrating only on money, not the fun from general process will always dissapoint you. Besides prizes in case of online casinos are usually really small, for example, in my case the biggest amount of money I've ever won was 50$ and I can say that it's a good prize in general. Of course sometimes people win much bigger amounts of money but that happens really rare and I noticed earlier why.
And yeah, you can really win smth only if it's a safe casino, not a scam and there many of them, however using some special tips will help you to avoid such bad ones. For example, experienced players usually use big, tested forum comeon casino bonus codeswith various types of such games and always check reviews and rank about the certain ones. You should pay attention on date of casino's creation too, it it was made not so long ago, then it's a great possibility that it's a scam. Testing customers support firstly is important too, as also their payment methods and general terms and rules. Personally I always make questions in additions, if I don't understand smth, it's really better than having problems later with your money and credit cards. There are special forum with more useful tips for new players Heaven4gamblers, read them carefully before starting your own game.
Also I can recommend as the safe ones Sloty, Guts and Highroller casinos, I play them for a long time and I've never had any problems with them. Good luck if you want to try too!
What means nothing for you, means everything for me (c)

The Indian casinos are very popular here in Arizona. I used to gamble quite a bit in my single days but I no longer have any interest in it. I've been a few times and mostly lose when I go. The problem I see is that there are a lot of people who go to casinos all the time who can ill afford to lose money but they keep going back because they are psychologically addicted to gambling.

I allow myself $200 and look at it as an evening of fun entertainment and free drinks.
