You mean Fascist, but all the decision did was make the bribery that much more naked. The American Government, whatever money can buy, sold to the highest bidder. Been there, failed at that, but Americans are a dumb as dog shit and never learn from history, not even their own.

Did America Turn Into Communism After Citizens United?

Nope. Long before.

They've been turning toward communism (actually socialism, not much significant difference at this stage) since at least the 1930s.

Citizens United decision, if anything, backtracked a little as the Supreme Court decided that people had the right to see their political spending protected as political speech (the main purpose of that part of the 1st amendment), and so forbade government from regulating as much as they had been. Whether the people were acting individually or in groups.

You are wrong I did not mean "Fascist" at all.

After that it seemed brainy, but you lost me at the false correction.

So you must be mad that American Corporations are running our Government :p

The entire Right Wing dialogue lately has been that we do not need Industrial workers, we need profits.

Oh, and then blame industrial workers for being lazy people out of jobs.

It use to be America, not it's 'Merica.

Citizens United basically stated "Corporations are People" and gave them the same voting rights as people without notating that not everyone in one industry is in the same party and not a "people". It's directly against the Constitution to force someone to vote a specific way, we do we allow this? Not everyone in "GE" is in one party.

You trying to say Citizens United is a step in the (R)ight direction doesn't surprise me

I made this post so the Right Wing Corporate Drones would wake up and realize they are the problem and possibly even Communists.

*polishes biceps*

That has not been the dialog of anyone I've seen at all. Perhaps you should reexamine what intentions you assign to people to see if your crystal ball is broken.

Are you stating the media is a crystal ball LOL! Holy crap.

This was the purpose of this thread, basic definition vs. Bias media idiocracy.

Thanks for stamping it with your approval/signature.

Long before Citizens United, Corporations were considered a legal entity of person-hood...

From the Model Business Corporation Act of 1950 as amended in 1984....

§3.02 General Powers

Unless its articles of incorporation provide otherwise, every corporation has perpetual duration and succession in its corporate name and has the same powers as an individual to do all things necessary or convenient to carry out its business and affairs,

including without limitation power:

(1) to sue and be sued, complain and defend in its corpo-

rate name;

(2) to have a corporate seal, which may be altered at will,

and to use it, or a facsimile of it, by impressing or affixing;

(3) to make and amend bylaws, not inconsistent with its articles of incorporation or with the laws of this state, for managing the business and regulating the affairs of the corporation;

(4) to purchase, receive, lease, or otherwise acquire, and own, hold, improve, use, and otherwise deal with, real or personal property, or any legal or equitable interest in property, wherever located;

(5) to sell, convey, mortgage, pledge, lease, exchange, and otherwise dispose of all or any part of its property;

(6) to purchase, receive, subscribe for, or otherwise acquire; own, hold, vote, use, sell, mortgage, lend, pledge, or otherwise dispose of; and deal in and with shares or other interests in, or obligations of, any other entity;

(7) to make contracts and guarantees, incur liabilities, borrow money, issue its notes, bonds, and other obligations (which may be convertible into or include the option to purchase other securities of the corporation), and secure any of its obligations by mortgage or pledge of any of its property,

franchises, or income;

(8) to lend money, invest and reinvest its funds, and receive and hold real and personal property as security for repayment;

(9) to be a promoter, partner, member, associate, or manager of any partnership, joint venture, trust, or other entity;

(10) to conduct its business, locate offices, and exercise the powers granted by this Act within or without this state;

(11) to elect directors and appoint officers, employees, and agents of the corporation, define their duties, fix their compensation, and lend them money and credit;

(12) to pay pensions and establish pension plans, pension trusts, profit sharing plans, share bonus plans, share option plans, and benefit or incentive plans for any or all of its current or former directors, officers, employees, and agents;

(13) to make donations for the public welfare or for charitable, scientific, or educational purposes;

(14) to transact any lawful business that will aid governmental policy;

(15) to make payments or donations, or do any other act, not inconsistent with law, that furthers the business and affairs of the corporation.

Business could not be conducted around the world without governing corporation standards and laws.

Please note the highlighted.

I think if Bernie Sandsrs gets enough air time, he can launch a viable campaign. I want to see Fox News interview him. Can you imagine?

Forced to vote a specific way, really? You're losing it, no one is forced to vote or invest in a corporation.

It does not mean that concept is correct. We do a lot of things that are bad today. Time fixes these issues, sometimes slowly. Knuckle draggers are generally the reason we don't fix these issues.

This makes no sense whatsoever – but that's the case for most of you posts.

This also makes no sense whatsoever – in addition to being wrong and ridiculous; at least you're consistent at being wrong and ridiculous.

It won't happen without them "stepping" on him when he speaks. (Stepping on smart people is what they do. It's what dumb people do. When someone smart starts talking they try to own the floor by yelling over the other person instead of listening to their perspective and debating it with factual information) Fox News NEVER let's people that don't agree with them speak without yelling over them and edits. Just watch it.

Fox News is LIBERTARIAN media owned by an Aussie. Funny thing is the Fox News Lib's hate Jesse Ventura and Ron Paul. Hell, they won't even let Jesse Ventura on Fox News anymore because he talks about Liberty and not about Profits over Humanity which is what Fox News is today.

It makes no sense to you because you don't know what Communism is. It's a typical response. You just know "commies are bad, m'kay"
