Did ACORN Help Franken Steal His Senate Seat?

Dudes got it right.

That shits over. Theres no going back and having another look-see.

And the last thing the right needs is to whine "he stole the election!" like a lib between 00'-04'.

Yup, it's a waste of energy, just like with the guys who were harping about DIEBOLD.

Did ACORN Help Franken Steal His Senate Seat?

Many people think Al Franken stole his Senate seat. Franken won by the razor thin margin of 312 votes out of about 3 million cast. ACORN claims to have registered 43,000 new voters in Minnesota. With ACORN's record, it is hard to say how many of those are legitimate. Many of these "newly registered voters" may have voted illegally. Minnesota's laws on proof of voter eligibility are notoriously loose.

From the Minnesota Star-Tribune:

But ACORN does have a special place in its heart for at least one prominent Minnesota politician. Last year, it showered praise on Al Franken, endorsing his run for the U.S. Senate. Franken returned the esteem: "I'm thrilled and honored to receive this endorsement," he gushed in a press release. He added that he was "more motivated than ever to work with ACORN."

You all need to get over your huge losses in the 2008 elections. You can never begin to heal your party until you accept. I'll never understand how Coleman won his term in the first place... Did he steal it? :eusa_boohoo:

Oh yes, that's true, isn't it..

You know, if there were any kind of underhanded dealings going on concerning the election, it was by Senator Coleman.

The GOP figured that would be the easiest seat to contest so as to prevent the 60 seat majority. Too bad it didn't work out.

Coleman is an asshole.........and oh yeah.......wasn't the rallying cry back then "vote the bums out"?

So that one is photoshopped, it was probably the best way to showcase his mentality. He appeared in diapers at least twice on Saturday Night Live, once as the New Year's baby wearing diaper, sash, and a smile, and another time (even worse) in a g-string-like Sumo wrestler diaper.

So that's where Borat got the idea!

Wonder if he's gonna run for office anytime soon (Borat)?

He'd make a great republican candidate.

Quite possible of course - but the election is over.

Of far more importance was Acorn's dealings during the Clinton/Obama primary race.

Of course, that election too is over...
