What an eye opener

I did the county I lived in as well as the next county over. I found 155 names addresses and pictures, including one man(muther- fu@ker ) a few blocks away.

I used the official state sex offender registry.
If you have not already, I would do one asap. About half had aggravated assault/ kidnapping convictions against women, the other half were sexual assaults against children of both sexes.

Pleeze...never refer to a child molestor as a "gentleman"! :wtf:

I have done this. I have a few too close. I also receive a postcard informing me that one is moving into the area.

I only did two counties, but this just brings home how this problem is not someone else's. It's just everywhere!!

I live in a town of only about 2700 people, but you would be surprised at the number of registered sex offenders there are here. Last I checked, there were ten, or 1 sex offender for every 270 people in town.

The really bad thing about living in a small town is you can't avoid coming in contact with the pieces of garbage. I even ended up giving one guy a ride back and forth to work for about three months until I found out what he had done.

I wish they would do that here. If it's a local situation, most everybody knows. In the case where I was giving the guy a ride, he was originally from here but was arrested for what he did in Fort Worth and came back here.

I've been looking for the females but no luck dammit. :teeth:

Now I'm certainly not trying to stick up for sex offenders... but the majority of sex offenders are at what WA calls Level 1: they are not likely to reoffend, and/or their crime was a 'minor' sex offense. These are not the ones you want to worry about. The Level 3 sex offenders are the ones that should worry you. These are the ones who are most likely to reoffend, and are guilty of more heinous crimes.

There are three levels, level one is usually teens having sex with younger teens, level two and three are the dangerouse ones usually aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping with sexual assault, and pedophelia. All the ones on my list were either level two or three, most only served about 7 years on average and were out on probation, a few were still incarcerated.

Yeah, you have to use a little common sense with it. I don't know how other states list the sex offenders, but the Texas Department of Public Safety lists the age of the victim and the year of the offense. A 18 or 19 year old that manages to get in trouble for being with a 16 year old is far different from a 57 year old man molesting a 3 or 4 year old.

In my state the info includes all the info of the offense, the age of the felon, a recent picture, their address, how long they served in prison, when they got released and the level of the assault.

yeah i got them around my neighborhood too! sick bastards. good thing they have pics on them too. found out one of the guys i worked with at the casino was charged too. they should all be killed

Ours has all that except how long they served in prison, I think. Also, instead of level of assault, they have a threat level.

I checked my area earlier today and learned something disturbing. Although one sex offender has apparently moved, another had moved in. What really sucks is it's a guy I used to work with in another city years ago. He let us know he was in prison, but lied about why. When it came out that he had molested a 6 year old girl, it was my job to fire him, something I had absolutely no problem with and even took pleasure in doing it. He was a delivery driver, and we were sending this maggot to people's doors. Sometimes he would talk about the young girls that came to the door. Sounded a little creepy even before we found out his real story, after it was stomach turning.

donteven bother with threat levels. mark them all as going to do it again. tattoo thier forehead so every one has a warning to little ones away from them (that way it wouldnt matter if they did or didnt register in whatever cities they lived).
full and real castration, not that chemical shit.
