Dick Clark died

Thanks for the memories. You're one of the reasons that Rock and Roll is here to stay. RIP

RIP Dick Clark...the only man I knew who was a teenager for 60 years or more.

However, this does not qualify for POLITICS.

I remember saying "When Dick Clark dies, will he take New Year's Eve with him?

He lived a magnificent life. Dead at 82, he's one man that can say he truly made a difference.

Um...no. He fought against Rock and Roll in the 70's during the disco craze.
I remember. I remember him specifically talking about keeping disco alive.

At any rate...he was a classy guy. And will be remembered as such.

As a kid I really enjoyed the shows he hosted. He was a fun part of being a teen. RIP. You done good, Dick.

he was an ICON. I hate hearing about this stuff.....it just shows me that I'm aging also.

Same. I'm so sad. Just because of Bandstand. The rest of who he was and what he did - I don't know that much about him. But Bandstand was HUGE.

News Years Rocking Eve is huge, 25K pyramid was huge . He was a true icon. It is a Sad day for sure. I loved American Bandstand. My children dont understand Iconic he is because now a days their are so many channels. Heck when I was growing up we were lucky to have 5 tops
