Why is Devry so Underrated ?

It was established in 1931, so it has quite a long history.
It is headquartered in Illinois, North of the Mason Dixie Line, so it isn't a bad school.

It Answers primarily to the United States Department of Education, and the departments of Education in Canada, so it cannot possibly be a bad school, being as it is overseen by the governments and policies of multiple countries.

Sure, there are some things that you shouldn't take online, like Engineering...
But it is a very good Business school..

Better than most Universities in the United States especially in the South and the lower, more western part of the Midwest.
:)

Like ANY for-profit school, it has a higher dropout rate than non profits like community college...

But it also gives opportunities for a college education to a wider variety of people, so it will have a higher dropout rate.

How ?

Because non profit universities have lengthy entry exams, they want greater qualification out of their applicants, and hold applicants to higher standards... they want more in depth explanation of one's self with proof... and one's background... etc..

So Non profits serve a less diverse group, and generally a higher socio economic class group...

Whereas for profit education companies like Devry offer near-blind opportunity.

Online school is also more appropriate in some cases, and in fact, offer a greater chance of graduation and success than being inside a classroom, for some people.

So why is Devry so Underrated ?
