A Detroit police officer, Deon Nunlee, is accused of raping a woman who had called 911 to report being assaulted by her boyfriend.

According to the Wayne County prosecutor’s office, Deon Nunlee, was finally arraigned Friday on second-degree criminal sexual conduct, assault and misconduct charges for the incident that happened on October 30, 2013.

The report said it happened when Detroit police officer Deon Nunlee and his partner were dispatched to the woman’s home that date at around 3 a.m., reported MyFoxDetroit.

The 31-year-old woman says she was sexually assaulted in an upstairs bedroom by one officer while another officer remained downstairs with her boyfriend. The woman told investigators the officer who sexually assaulted her said he would return later. [...]

It only seems like that to you because you have a limited grasp of reality and are unable to use logic and reason. Because of the media, we hear about nearly every bad thing a bad cop does. They are, however, logically, a very small minority compared to the tens of thousands of police officers in this country. You hear about the bad ones; you never hear about the good ones doing their best day in and day out. There are over 120,000 full time police officers in the US. You heard about one bad one today.
