Are you not aware that an eye witness places Trayvon Martin on top of George Zimmerman, straddling him MMA style and raining blows down on his head? Are you not aware that Martin's only injuries other than the fatal gun shot is a cut to his knuckles that would be consistent with punching something? Are you not aware that Zimmerman suffered numerous injuries to his head and face?

GZ has been justifiably charged with murder-2. If he walks, the Feds should nail him, per above posts, but since GZ objected to an earlier SPD beating of a homeless black man, a charge of 'hate-crime' may be unwarranted. But down goes George, maybe to civil rights violations. The state cannot cheat, like it wanted to, when SPD would not secure the crime scene, test GZ properly, or arrest GZ.

Your rant has no basis in reality, Lil...Zimmerman didn't "stalk" Trayvon Martin to his door step nor did he "confront" him there.
Zimmerman gets out of his SUV to try and keep Martin in sight until the police arrive but when he follows him around the buildings that Martin has gone behind...Zimmerman thinks Martin has headed towards the back gate of the complex with is straight ahead and proceeds in that direction. Brandy Green's townhouse is to the right which is where Trayvon Martin went. How do I know this? Because Zimmerman doesn't find Martin on the way to the back gate and is headed back to his SUV to meet the police when the "confrontation" takes place. Zimmerman testified that Martin approached him from the left and rear as he was walking back. If Martin doesn't do so then Zimmerman returns to his SUV and meets the police at the front gate. If Martin simply continues on to Brandy Green's townhouse then the two men never come anywhere near each other. But neither of those things happen, Lil...because Trayvon Martin decides that he's going to confront the man who questioned him earlier. Trayvon Martin decides that he's going to respond to those questions with his fists. Trayvon Martin assaults George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin is shot while giving George Zimmerman a beating.
As for the police investigation? Police take George Zimmerman to the station and grill him for FIVE HOURS before letting him go. His testimony remains consistent throughout despite having just received a rather hard beating to the head. What reason would the police have to hold him further? The prosecutor has looked at the evidence and has recommended that he be released. What basis would the police have to hold him at that point?
