"Washington (CNSNews.com) – Andrew Revkin, who reports on environmental issues for The New York Times, floated an idea last week for combating global warming: Give carbon credits to couples that limit themselves to having one child.

Revkin later told CNSNews.com that he was not endorsing the idea, just trying to provoke some thinking on the topic."

How very ChiComistic of you, Comrades!

Kids and Old People contribute to Global Warming, no wonder ObamaCare wants to eliminate them
How about the woman in a hearing who reported that her insurance company said that they'd insure her if she were sterilized?
SEIU - Service Employees International Union - Insurance company: "Get sterilized"

Insurance company: "Get sterilized"
BY JESSICA KUTCH
UPDATE: Check out the first page of the letter that Golden Rule sent to Peggy rejecting her application and suggesting she gets sterilized.

After having a c-section, Peggy Robertson received a letter. It was from her insurance company, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, and it basically said this: get sterilized, or you won't receive coverage.

I'm going to save you trouble...

Some journalist suggesting that people should be paid carbon credits to have only one kid ----> carbon credits plan as a whole ---> Al Gore supports cabon credits (of course not the one above but who cares?) (oh and he has FOUR kids the population control supporting bastard) -----> Al Gore is a democrat -----> therefore Democrats support population control and therefore are evil commies from Russia.

See, Glenn Beck, I did all that and didn't even need a chalk board! This shit is easier then he makes it sound.

any indication as to which political party this reporter represents??????? Or was this just one more figment of OP's imagination?

He's the "Environment Reporter" for the NYTimes, dickwad

Yes, that says nothing about political affiliation - and it doesn't say anything about any Democrat endorsing such an idea. Trolling around with hyper-partisan rants - how very original and clever ......

Stop pretending that the NYTimes and the Dem Party differ on anything

Stop pretending your assumptions constitute fact

The Environment Reporter for the New York Times and you're telling me he's not a Dem or a "Progressive" or a Librul...riiiiiiiiight

You have to admire that Frank has taken one reporter from one newspaper and has decided that this is now a federal program that has been written and passed by the Democrats. The sheer stupidity of a Frank post is like a snowflake. Each is different but equally amazing.

OK - THAT made me snort coffee out of my nose ....

But you're for the idea amiright? It WAS in the NYTimes. Don't you feel the need to agree as strong as the pull of gravity around the accretion disk of a Black Hole?

I can't speak for Mr. C. but I'd wager a king's ransom that his need to agree is dwarfed by your need to disagree.

I'll never understand why people look to political affiliations to form opinions about what's best for the environment. Seems retarded and counterproductive to me.
