Bernie never had a chance of winning the nomination. And that's coming from someone who wishes he had won it.

Nobody has a chance at a Dem coronation when superdelegates each have the power of 70,000 "regular voters". The media treats the elections a horse race. Not an issues debate. So all they report and HOW they report is based on "support" and delegates.

In the DNC -- you have to have collected the most "battle ribbons" to deserve to be coronated. That's why it was "Hillary's turn".. And anyone that has DISSED the party in any way or doesn't please the "superdelegates" has ZERO chance. Bernie ran because principle. Not to win..

Now if they hunt down and string up Gabbard, a fighting person with a lot of skills and convictions, SHE just might shoot them the middle finger again and run as an Independent. That's the kind of move that will actually SAVE America from the scourge of this destructive 2 party stand-off...

She's as socialist as they come. Like Bernie Sanders, the elder dissenter. In fact, she endorsed him for President.

She's the exact opposite of a Libertarian.

It's hard to find such a thing as "the opposite of Libertarian".. Because you'd have to reach down into the nether realm of leftist and rightest authoritarians to pluck one out.. We actually agree TOTALLY with folks like Bernie on at least 1/2 of their issues.. Mostly agree on Foreign policy. Mostly agree on stopping corporate/govt collusion. Mostly agree on "criminal justice reform" and Civil Liberties. The latter one is way different and more encompassing than just "rights".. And only libertarians and some of "old school socialists" understand the diff.

But the half is anything to do with math or economics or size of Federal Govt. And there we split ways. And the fact that the "old school" socialists are adopting and raising a whole bushel basket of your wild child progressive know-nothings that you just sent to Congress --- disturbs us greatly.

Gabbard is not in that fruit and nut basket. She's risen in the Armed Forces to a Major, speaks for herself and defends herself well in debate and with the public.. And lately, what I want in politics is "the best of breed".. The type that sticks to problem solving and "straight talk".. Don't really care where the country finds these solid specimens of independent politics, but it's independents that are the only way OUT of this downward spiral in leadership...

Islamic terrorism mostly defeated, our military rebuilt, trade deals reworked and our relationship with China revamped. Without 90% negative news coverage and an FBI/DOJ plot to destroy him, Trump would be the most wildly popular president in history. We have a govt that can compromise most of the elected representatives now. They ALL love them some Big Brother spying on everything domestic.. What does that tell you about the TRUE state of our nation???

THen you simply have NOT been following along. What do you think a FISA warrant does? It gives you access to that mighty Big Brother "702 system" that WE WERE TOLD -- only existed to track down Jihadi terrorists on America soil.. It got TURNED into a political weapon to spy on the Trump Campaign.. Giving them NOT just access to "wiretap" and "intercepts" but to the ENTIRE NETWORK of associates in the campaign and ALL of their RECORDED electronic transactions going back YEARS. They are all now stored/archived on Big Brother.

Trump was INDEED a victim of the Patriot Act which AUTHORIZED that Domestic Spy program. And if you do not know this -- you probably don't give a crap about Civil Liberties or your freedom.
