Dems stalking GOP candidates: crossing the line

How does he know the cameraman was a dem? Maybe it was a republican...maybe a tea party terrorist wanting to make sure he bought american items only....who knows these days

You really have to read the whole story. Now both sides have trackers and that's quite alright to videotape an opposing candidate on the campaign trail.

Hey, it's politics and it's a blood sport. But this is borderline stalking. And the Dems are proud of it.

In an email, Paul Lindsay, an NRCC spokesman, wrote: “Our trackers serve as eyes and ears to hold Democrats accountable in public events and public spaces only. Anything beyond that would be a violation of our policy.”

Democrats, on the other hand, insist the videos are fair game — and are unapologetic about the hardball tactics.

Here ya go Plasmaball.
Democratic officials said placing the videos on the DCCC’s website and YouTube serve a useful purpose, most notably making the footage available to friendly outside groups for use in TV commercials. That way, they don’t violate laws against coordinating with those groups.

Andy Stone, a spokesman for House Majority PAC, a super PAC that plans to spend millions targeting Republicans over the next four months, declined to comment on whether the organization will make use of the videos, saying it will “make race-by-race strategic assessments about the most effective course.”

In some cases, outside groups are producing the aggressive tracker footage themselves.

This has nothing to do with the dems. That is what newspeople and tabloid people do. No fucking duh they watch all the candidates. I am not really sure what the problem is as people should know about their elected officials actions, and it is pretty much standard for any popular person.

I am waiting to see your next post about Obama being black. Thank you captain obvious, you can go now.
