Dems gain control of the Wisconsin Senate

MILWAUKEE -- There may be a glimmer of good news for Wisconsin Democrats despite last night’s convincing win by Republican Scott Walker in the recall race for governor.

After a vote tabulation glitch in Racine County, Democrat John Lehman appears to have come out on top in a state senate recall that late Tuesday night looked like it was going the way of incumbent Republican Van Wanggard. The margin is less than 1,000 votes, and Wanggard has yet to concede though Lehman, who held the seat until 2010, declared victory.

It’s only one seat, but that’s enough for now to flip control of the state senate from the GOP to Democrats, a change that could in theory make things harder for Walker to impose his conservative agenda in Madison.

OK--I am curious.

What else is Walker trying to do?
Please, don't say "impose a conservative agenda" because that could mean anything.

Are you saying the dems should block any legislation Walker proposes?
And if so you claim that is a good thing?
You tell us: is it a good strategy?

Why can't those on the left simply answer the question? Are you afraid of being shown as the hypocrites you are?

Hey. He's gotta have something to feel superior over. Hell. Barret, the Dems and the Unions got their asses handed to em yesterday.

A third of something is better than nothing. LOL

How about a bet Chris?

IF Walker is indicted within the next 6 months, I leave the board forever... IP ban.
IF Walker is NOT indicted within the next 6 months, YOU leave the board forever, IP ban.

Deal?

Chris already pussed out of this offer. No confidence in her opinions or beliefs. Like that's a fucking surprise

The Wisconsin Senate is in recession for the rest of the term... Nothing will be voted on nless there's an emergency...

that is the concession the Democrats accomplished ... not just one seat but three including last year.

the Democrats had nothing to lose going into the Recall and potentially gained a seat / control of the WI Senate.

until November when 16 or so seats are up for grabs.

That is what they are infering but I have yet to see any confirm it. It shows how partisan they are when they are ok with the WI dems blocking legislation but not with the repubs in the US House.
