The Democratic Party is currently in shambles. Now they're eating their own. The President didn't even bother negotiating with his own Party on this. He bypassed them and went straight to the Republicans. This was an Obama/Republican agreement. Pelosi's gang had very little to do with it. The fact he went straight to the Republicans really does say it all about the current state of the Democratic Party.
