Even with the money Republicans, including the Koch brothers, poured into the state recall elections, Democrats kept all three of their seats, won two Republican seats and barely lost in three out of four of the other races.

It's pretty clear what Democrats are fighting for.

What are Republicans fighting for?

CRUSHING DEFEAT FOR REPUBLICANS!

DEMOCRATS HOLD 14 OF 14 SEATS IN RECALL!!!!

:lol::lol::lol:

Really? The Democrat Party spent $45 million in an attempt to retake the state Senate. Which party still hold the governorship and the entire state legislature. Oh yeah crushing defeat :eusa_eh:

Democratic incumbents win Wisconsin recalls - The Fix - The Washington Post

Two Wisconsin Democratic state senators survived recall elections Tuesday night, leaving Republicans with a narrow 17 to 16 majority in the upper chamber.

State Sen. Bob Wirch (D) defeated corporate attorney Jonathan Steitz (R) in the 22nd district. State Sen. Jim Holperin (D) is fighting tea party activist Kim Simac (R) in the 12th.

Gov. Scott Walker (R) won both seats in the 2010 election, but the Republican-leaning 12th district was more seriously contested.

That means Democrats have won two recalls in the state this summer; Republicans have won none.

See? Republicans don't even know what they are fighting for. Besides rich people. Maybe that's all you need.

The six-month saga that was Wisconsin's state Senate recall movement ended Tuesday with Democrats retaining two seats - and Republicans still in possession of a week-old, razor-thin 17-16 majority.

On the fourth election day of the summer, two Democratic incumbents were victorious. Sen. Jim Holperin (D-Conover) beat challenger and tea party activist Kim Simac of Eagle River, and Sen. Bob Wirch (D-Pleasant Prairie) easily topped Republican lawyer Jonathan Steitz.

Get it? GOP holds all the executive branches of the State of Wisconsin.

Did they take control of the Wisconsin Senate?

No?

Well then...yay.

No, but they did get two out of three seats closer; and all they need is that one Republican who voted against Walker's budget to vote with them again. And anyway, it sends a message to Republicans. They are the real losers here. Who lost seats? Dems? No. Repubs? Yep, two of them.

Seats that they previously held, meaning get your shit together.

Next year as jobs remain scarce. Your position grows weaker.

I just saw this. Yep. The Repubs "burn the village to save it" plan apparently didn't sit well w/ the electorate.

Only a few recalls have taken place in the entire history of WI, and now Dems have managed to unseat two Repubs at one time in historic recall elections, and cons act like it's a victory for Repubs. :cuckoo:
