Democrats.. Stuck with Obama

The worst news of all is that the economy is recovering faster than anticipated.

According to whom? Several analysts predicted it would have recovered by now. Some, with any knowledge of the economical cycles, knew that it was a natural occurrence and would reverse itself in time. Only politicians used the downturn to sell fear to the American people. Now this administration is using the upturn as a selling point to their campaign, and their efforts have had little effect.

What was that??

You are acknowledging the economy is getting better?

Stop the presses!

Of course I am, but I am not accrediting it to this administration. I am accrediting it to the fact that the decline itself was a natural occurrence in the economical cycle. It's a basic principle that you learn in fucking high school economics.

But I will not advocate that it is recovering "faster than expected." I think it's right on schedule.

It's obvious that the Obama Presidency and Democratic control of Congress is and will remain a dismal failure for the American people.

There are no signs whatever of success.....:(

So the 2010 election will come around, not fast enough sadly and Democrats will have devastating loses and realize their stuck with Obama in 2012.

Osama's already a lame duck

Republicans have their head in the sand. If you look at the weekly claims data, it's gotten much better over the last six months, with first time filers and continuing claims both dropping around 20%.

Moreover, Obama is now talking about Fed workforce cuts, something that Clinton did, but Bush didn't. Private sector employment grew by less than a million jobs in W's 8 years, while gov't staffing grew by 3 million - which is what you'd expect from a Socialist. No one did more for big government than Bush. I believe in the Republicans' stated principles of smaller government and fewer taxes, but the party itself has not been practicing that.

:doubt: You do realize that the slow down was going to happen anyway, no matter how much worse the economy gets, there were only a specific number of jobs to begin with.

Only if you ignore massive unemployment, sky-rocketing deficits, ballooning inflation, the tanking of the dollar, less productivity in the private sector, stagnation, state after state going broke, massive government corruption, and what's worse the Dems are just getting started.

Unemployment has doubled since last year and they have to fudge the numbers to make it look that good. Some states are experiencing over 20% while the national average is actually around 18% and above.

But at least it's not as bad as the collapse of the Soviet Union.......yet. Give em time.
