Democrats step up big time.

Though each of those are due to local/state issues, it is a winner and symptom of our overall problems..
Does anyone still think those in congress get rich because of their paychecks?
:haha:

Righhhtttt. Always someone else’s fault. They were given 6 months to come up with a reasonable solution, but the Dems want to play hard ball, and hold the nation hostage over illegal immigrants, and try to attach it to the budget.
Too bad the Dems put them in this position over. Daca which doesn’t even expire for over a month.
Dumb, as the House passed the budget. Too bad republicans rejected the proposals in the Senate.
There’s lots of stupid shit in the budget. It’s not just about DACA, which wouldn’t be an issue if Trump hadn’t ended it specifically to make it an issue during these negotiations.
The GOP controls everything. Stop trying to pass the buck. Especially since DACA wouldn’t be an issue if not for Trump.

No...

Especially since DACA wouldn’t be an issue if not for Obama.

He's the one that started that bullshit program, after all
A very popular program that most Americans, including the President up until his whims shifted a couple days ago, want to keep.

No, most don’t want to keep it, without certain provisions, and definitely don’t think it is worth shutting govt down over

POLL: Most voters agree with Trump -- END Chain Migration, REDUCE overall immigration

Trump early this month said he would rescind DACA, giving Congress a six-month window to
act before nearly 800,000 undocumented immigrants lose protection from deportation. He later
reached tentative agreement with top congressional Democrats for DACA legislation
accompanied by upgraded border security.
As noted, 65 percent support that potential compromise – a bipartisan result, with 76 percent support among Republicans, 66 percent among independents and 59 percent among Democrats. Similarly, 71 percent of moderates, 66 percent of conservatives and 56 percent of liberals back the deal. Just 27 percent of Americans in this poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates, are opposed.

Being a Congressmen should be a part time job, like it was intended by the founders.

The job openings should be discriminatory towards those with high incomes... Those who make an individual, pre-tax amount of $100,000 a year or more should be disqualified from the job automatically. Some may say such a requirement is bull shit, but so are the current standards where one needs to be rich to get any Congress or WH position. We need people from the middle class (workers and small business owners) representing us, not rich 1% lawyers.

A Congressional job should also require an IQ test, so dumb fucks like Hank Johnson can't be elected once, yet alone year after year.

Do you want to see progress in technology advancement, wages, worker treatment, infrastructure, and healthcare? Dethrone the rich by removing them from our highest government positions, and replace large corporations with small to mid-size businesses. Good bye companies like Bank of America, hello credit unions and mom and pop shops. Eventually there will be no more shareholders to please, so the money companies make will be put back into the employees and customers instead.

Don't think it'll work? Try it.
