We here in Maricopa County run the fourth largest jail in the WORLD. That's right democrats WORLD. And when you do time here it's ALL HARD TIME. Could care less if you are a drunk driver or killer. BOTH do HARD TIME and they get to be "tent mates".

There is NO heat No A/C no electric NO running water. Not even flush toilets, see the idea is to make life "inside" a misery. People BEG to leave our jail AND county and they mean it.

Jail IS SUPPOSED to be a misery NOT some welfare grade health spa. You do NOT go on vacation when you go to jail here nor should you. YOU DO TIME, hard miserable time. You really want somebody drug free? Put their sorry ass in lock down for six months.

How about sober? Just 30 days in 110 degree heat will fix that right up. If you want to truly build a good habit then you MUST break the bad one first. And jail is NOT a social program nor was EVER meant to be. Jail is PUNISHMENT. And UNTIL you put back the HARD in HARD time you are just building stronger criminals.

A little over a month ago a couple of ILLEGALS destroyed a flag in the jail. They got 30 days bread and water. You just don't get stupid in this county. Or your stupid self goes to jail.
