When Obamacare was passed in 2009 the Democrats knew it would fail. Pass it now fix it later mentality. Trump under no obligation to fix it now after House Democrats had opportunity this week.

Then the GO P was even more morally irresponsible in not replacing and repealing it.

Starkey has lost his mind, or is entirely disconnected from reality. Some GOP wanted incremental change, the rest of us want a clean repeal bill. Were you not fucking paying attention?

He is not dealing with a full deck. Democratic Party will deal with this albatross in 2018.

I am GOP. And if the ACA is a bad program, then the GOP is a bad party for not fixing it.

Bush92 is not a Republican.

How many Democrats are there in the House?
Our GOP had an opportunity to fulfill a campaign promise and fucked it up.

A minority. The GOP that wanted a full repeal was in the minority in their party.

Immorality by the GOP all around.
How many Democrats supported saving the program yesterday? Now...it's going to collapse because that's what was going to happen from the start, and they knew it. Weasels.

Typical Democratic liberal failure: "We can see light at the end of the tunnel in Vietnam"..."It depends on what your definition of 'is...is'"..."You can keep your health care insurance plan."

So you admit Obamacare was broken from the start?
It was flawed because it did not include a single payer option. That is the fix needed...does he GOP have the balls to do it? If they do they will have them rednecks and ni@@rers voting for them for the next 40 years.

You spew propaganda. ACA got 20 million insured. That is a good thing, there is no denying that. Prices are still out of control... newsflash, they were out of control before the ACA too. The cost problems need to be addressed. Loosen regulations on small businesses, allow for catostrophic coverage, import drugs, cross state lines, encourage competition. The discussion should be about these things. The ACA needs to be amended. "Repeal and replace" is opposition party campaign propaganda.

Democrats made and passed the bill. GOP not obligated to save Obam's legacy.

ACA kicked people off affordable insurance plans and because of federal mandate millions more were forced on into it. Knowing it could not be paid for. Now millions who had good plans before 2008, and were fucked into ACA, will have rates double or triple. Democrats knew that back then. Irresponsible cocksuckers.

If they want to maintain control over the federal government for the next half century it would be a novel idea to give the majority of voters what they want.
Just saying!

Majority of voters? Why do Republicans control 2/3rds of state legislatures, just as many governorships, both houses of federal legislature, and the White House. Control mainstream? How you think Trump got elected?

That's bullshit and you know it. What was happening with those millions that were "forced" into having insurance? A percentage of them got sick or in accidents, they would go to the ER, then go bankrupt over the medical bills and hospitals would eat the rest of the costs which resulted in raising healthcare prices for everybody. So don't even try and make the case that we are better off with those millions of people left uninsured.

As for the limited choice in quality plans and raising premium prices, that is a problem that needs to be fixed and can be addressed by loosening regulations and taking measures to help increase competition.
