When Right-Wingers push, you need to push back and stop being a bunch of wimps. Force them to filibuster so the American people will know who the are. You cannot put a price tag on the lives of human beings. Healthcare is a human right. The life of a man is worth just as much as the life of an unborn child. Where are the pro-lifers on healthcare for those who do not have healthcare?
What right-wingers are doing is offering their condolences to the American people as if they were casualties of war in Iraq.
If we can take care of people in other countries, and that not be socialism, we can certainly take care of our own.
We send billions into outer space and it does not save one life. Who send the most money in outer space, wins the race. When the healthcare bill is pass, the American people wins the race.

Yes, they should do all of this.

And what will happen is instead of mearly losing their majority they will give the GoP a super majority (and THAT would also be a disaster) in November.

If a reform of the system is to be done, it should be done the right way.

The Democrats gave us a classic Wahington machine politics way of writing a bill. As was expected, the majority of Americans were outraged at the mess presented, filled with sweet deals, kickbacks and backroom agreements and hidden costs.

If Health Care is so vital, do it right.

BTW, HC is NOT a major priority for most Americans, the economy, lowering the deficiet and restoring American industry is. THAT is what the Democrats SHOULD have been working on, instead of the massive spending spree they have been on.

So you think the founders intended for children to die because their parents could not afford the medication to keep them alive?

No. I think the Founders intended the parents of said children to use their God given freedom to do whatever they could to support their children.

It's very clear they did not set up a Federal government in order to support said children and that they wanted to clearly limit the power of the government.

An interesting point, often overlooked by the healthcare whiners, is that one of our founding fathers, a certain Benjamin Franklin, established the first hospital in the United States. At the time of the drafting of and convention to discuss, our founding documents, Franklin himself was ill (often having to be carried to and from the meetings) and yet - no mention of healthcare. If the founders had wanted Americans to be 'looked after' by the government, they would have written it in. They didn't. End of. It ain't in the Constitution, we don't do it. What is hard about that? We are entitled to life (not healthcare, just life - ie no one can take our life without punishment), liberty (we are supposed to be free to stand or fall on our own - not have some bastard in DC telling us what we can or can not do), and the pursuit of happiness (free to define and go after our own definition of happiness).
