They offered a background check measure from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and a separate amendment from Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) to temporarily allow the attorney general to delay the sale of the gun and let a court decide if the sale should be permanently blocked.

Put in a reasonable delay for people suspected of terror by the govt. and then allow the court to judge the validity. That sounds like the America I learned of in civics. Nope; not acceptable to Dems (and 'some repubs'). They aren't happy 'til they've trounced every liberty.

Dems blast Republicans after failed gun votes

Democrat have to will have gun laws.

Republican do not will have the same.

Huckabee + Bush are strong against guns.

The No-Fly List is searchable by the public. It seems that gun sellers could just be held civilly liable if they sold to those on it.

But of course its an election year, which means that each party will be pointing out the other's weaknesses.

Time to write another check to the NRA....the libs are on the gun grab train.
