Milwaukee talk radio guy Mark Belling today called this "non-violent insurrection", and he's right. This is not playing by the rules, this is going outside the rules because you think the case is extreme enough. Wisconsin Democrats have really overplayed their hand here. Because governor Scott Walker is making reasonable cuts to the budget in a time of financial crisis, they're going totally apeshit. It's really not playing well to the citizens of Wisconsin.

They are doing it, because they know if they allow Democracy to act out. The vote will not go their way. Protecting a tiny % of the work force (public Sector Union Employees) and ignoring the will of the elected representatives of the rest of the people.
