Democrats are clearly hypocrits when it comes to fiscal matters

The republicans have done everything they can to keep any progress from taking place.

Hell they have not even allowed but a few of Obamas appointments to go through.

They are getting ready to "drown it in the bathtub" soon

Name a single policy the Reps have stopped Obama from doing...

"Why do you hate America so much TM that you lie in order to casuse drama and division in it's citizens?"

All of you claim the gop isn't doing their job yet you either completely ignore the fact that the dems never passed a single budget. Or you just deflect and excuse it away as no big deal.
If the gop had been in control for years and never passed a budget you would have been up in arms making all kinds of outlandish statements.

Now your demanding "where are the jobs bills" Yet at the height of our crash when we truely needed legislation to spur job growth and the dems had control all they did was bribe other democrats with our money to vote for obamacare and blow trillions on non shovel ready shovel ready jobs. No jobs bills. Where's your outrage?

Now the democratic controlled senate rejects the houses budget, which was to be expected BUT.... Did they offer a counter proposal, which is the norm, to spur negotiations? Nope... Again where's the outrage?

I will concede that republicans under bush spent like fools too but this isn't 2007 anymore. Isn't it time to stop looking backwards and try to accomplish something moving forward?

There was a reason the gop had a huge victory in the mid-terms. The public demands change, and responsibility. In order to achieve that we must act like adults and substitute some sanity for the partisanship. It's like everyone is in highschool again trying to score points in a pointless debate class. It's not pointless anymore....

THE PARTY OF "NO," AND "DO WHATEVER IT TAKES" WHINES OUT. You had complete control of all 3 branches of government for 6 and did nothing but drive america into a black hole, hypocrite...............:cuckoo:

Actually I believe idiots like Barney Frank had more to do with our crash than anyone else did. The housing crash was the catapult that threw us over the edge with no hope of making it back.

The Bush administration TRIED IN VEIN to stop the collapse. Why couldn't they? Because Barney Frank and others wanted to make sure poor people got loans they never should have gotten to begin with.

Bush and the republicans did spend far too much money but that was not the catalyst that started this mess.

Are you really going to claim the republicans have worked with Obama?

What did they work with him on?

Most of obamas policies are detrimental to our nation so there is no reason to work with him unless he wants to moderate his positions.

You dont get to decide what the rest of the American people get.

They voted fro Obama and you are NOT the only people in this country

A lot of nerve hearing "fiscal responsibility" from Republicans after what they did.

You got that right.

But while the four Republicans in Congressional leadership positions are attempting to hold the increase hostage now, they combined to vote for a debt limit increase 19 times during the presidency of George W. Bush. In doing so, they increased the debt limit by nearly $4 trillion.

At the beginning of the Bush presidency, the United States debt limit was $5.95 trillion. Despite promises that he would pay off the debt in 10 years, Bush increased the debt to $9.815 trillionby the end of his term, with plenty of help from the four Republicans currently holding Congressional leadership positions: Speaker John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl. ThinkProgress compiled a breakdown of the five debt limit increases that took place during the Bush presidency and how the four Republican leaders voted:
