In general, if the issue is that sensitive and relative, then maybe we should
split up schools by choice and allow people to pick and choose what policies
they want their kids to be taught under, similar to private schools that can
teach God and Creation and prayer if that's the environment the parents want.
So it doesn't have to be "imposed" on anyone else for them and their kids to feel safe.

Added note: I can't help but feel a big "I told you so" type of realization coming on
1. with health care and right to choose protected from govt intrusion
the whole POINT of keeping govt OUT of private decisions is to
PREVENT this whole political problem of battling govt authority and jurisdiction

so the liberals set up health care to be THROUGH federal govt,
and then COMPLAIN when they don't get the birth control policy they wanted.
Then why did you INSIST on running this THROUGH GOVT that involves
OTHER PEOPLE'S interests and beliefs that may conflict with YOURS?

2. with schools, again the Christians have been COMPLAINING about
the secular agenda restricting and regulating what they believe should be part of
education. We don't all agree on sex education, on creation/evolution, on prayer,
on Christmas, and now to add to all that: how to teach same sex relations
and LGBT sensitivity and now Transgender inclusion.

So the whole argument that public schools are getting out of hand
with REGULATING social beliefs and behavior is affecting
BOTH the rightwing side of Christian beliefs that have been under attack and excluded as religious
AND NOW the LGBT beliefs values and practices that opponents attack as faith based and relative also.

So this is like a huge "I told you so' about why we should
keep "church and state" separated, why we should keep
"private social programs and decisions" OUT OF GOVT.

So this avoids the whole BATTLE of trying to MICROMANAGE these issues.

Well yeah this whole "transgenderism" thing is fairly confusing as the definitions have gotten foggier than smoke filled room in London....

However what I'm looking forward to is the inception of the "transpeciesism" movement at which point I'm planning on self identifying as a dog, why you ask?

Dogs get to go to the bathroom in completely gender neutral bathrooms all the time (it's called "outside") and choosing which bathroom to use never confuses a dog
