The American economy is being bankrupted to pay for the pandemic, because so many of those who are sick and in need of expensive care, are without insurance. You were on very shaky fiscal ground before this happened.

The rest of the free world is not going bankrupt. Yes, this will be an economic hit but our health care is funded by our taxes - yours is not. The rest of the free world isn't cutting taxes on the government credit card. Trump has racked up massive debt faster than any President in history. Last but not least, the rest of the free world hasn't drained their treasuries and mortgaged their grandchildren's future to pay for a massive army and useless wars.

But the USA will be bankrupted by because your nation wasn't being run in a fiscally sound manner before this pandemic. You don't cut taxes unless you have a balanced budget or a recession. You had neither.

No it's not and it never has been. Liberals are avowed capitalists. We believe in private ownership, entrepreneurship and good fiscal management. We believe that ALL workers should have benefitted from the growing US economy, not just the top 10% and that America's financial problems related to this pandemic are rooted in the past 40 years of wealth transfer to the top at the expense of the American working class.

Conservatives give lip service to all three of these principles, but actions speak louder than words and the Republicans have increased the size of government under Reagan and Bush, and have been fiscally reckless to the point that three of the past 4 Republican Presidents have presided over massive fiscal crises of their own making brought about by massive tax cuts combined with prolifigate government spending mostly on unnecessary military build ups and useless wars.


What liberals want is a tax code and worker protections so that workers get a fair share of the value of their production.

As for my favorite party, I don't have one. They are both thoroughly corrupt. If you put a gun to my head and forced me to pick a party, I'd choose the Libertarian Party over the GOP and the Dems.
