Again, folks like me have to pick and choose their battles, sometimes we have to lose on key issues because other issues are more important.

Regardless, even IF Pence became president AND tried to undo SSM through EO, the SCOTUS would very likely uphold their ruling, IF they didn't then we'd still have states who recognized it, most insurance companies and hospitals would recognize it as much as they do today. Not much would change except Pence losing votes for a possible re-election.

That's a lot of if's and and's to get through before it becomes a problem for me and mine, and even after it all, it'd be a 'transient' issue; a number of years, because the majority of modern Christian's have decided to let gay folks ruin their afterlife if they want to and don't particularly care - so long as they are not legally forced to support those individuals. Rather like their viewpoint of Mormon's and having multiple wives; there their campaign to protect the "sanctity" of marriage was mostly successful, though in doing so they ended up losing on SSM because they forced marriage to be a political/governmental entity, protected by the Constitution, rather than a religious one, protected by the rules of the bible and church.
