Democrat bigotry on parade

To be clear. Your claim is that no lefties made the claim that conservatives would never elect Romney based on the pure fact he is a mormon?

You will have much more luck pulling quotes from people here claiming that evangelicals wont vote for Romney because he's a Mormon.

Nearly the entire left wing of the board thinks that the collective GOP will "elect" Romney in the primary.

At this point nearly everyone thinks Romney will win the primary, but such was not the case when the primaries first started...agreed?

Romney was the frontrunner in the realclear average from Feb '11 to August, and is NOW trailing Santorum.

"In a survey that cuts against the media stereotype, a new Gallup Poll has found that more Democrats than Republicans say they would not vote for a Mormon for president. Twenty-seven percent of Democrats say they wouldn't vote for a Mormon, while 18 percent of Republicans say the same. For independents, the figure is 19 percent. "

Anti-Mormon bias persists, notably among Democrats | Washington Examiner

In my experience, I have not found too many liberal Mormons. Got any?

I noticed there was no link to the actual poll in the article, a common practice of the WE.

Clearly there is no ‘proof’ of ‘democratic bigotry’ with regard to Mormons.

There is evidence that fundamentalist, evangelical Christians do have an issue with Mormons, and hold the faith suspect.

Fundamentalist, evangelical Christians are a component of social conservatism, which in turn is a component of the GOP overall.

Clearly you didn't bother to read the article cited in the OP...

Hmm, how many "Mormon liberals" are there?

Oops, when you start looking at the reason, seems it may not be just "Mormon".

Get it? The right won't vote for a Mormon because they are a Mormon.

The left may not vote for a Mormon because:

They are conservative
They hate gays
They believe in the occult
They are Mitt Romney
They have a history of calling blacks the son of Cain
They have a history of polygamy

Democrats are a diverse bunch. Unlike Republicans.

Is it bigoted to not want someone running my country who believes in fantasy?

The constitution does not allow god to tell US leaders to do anything.
Or at least for them to act on gods orders in any governmental matter.

thats true.....but if the President attends mass every Sunday and considers himself somewhat Religious who is to say he is not praying to God for guidance and feels God has inspired him to do what he has done....we dont have to know you know....

Keep spinning that hard and you're liable to puke!

Here's the question...

"If YOUR PARTY nominated a generally well-qualified person for President who happened to be Mormon, would you vote for that person?"

The question has no shades of gray for liberal/conservative Mormon. It asks if YOUR PARTY nominated....

You FAIL, rderp... miserably... :lol::lol::lol:

The Washington Examiner is a FOS Pub Propaganda organ....Pubs lie like rugs...LOL!

Here you go...
In U.S., 22% Are Hesitant to Support a Mormon in 2012

Democrats have 50% more anti-Mormon bigots than Republicans and Independents.

Tolerance....riiiiiiiiiiight... :eusa_whistle:

Is it bigotry to not vote for someone because they're atheist?

It won't last. Look at the charts: Realclearpolitics

Romney bottomed out in September of last year and has been on a slow increase ever since. Santorum stayed low and at the beginning of February he made a surge and maxed out a week ago. His numbers are starting to trend down again and he will take a nose dive just like Perry, Cain, and Gingrich did. Santorum is just the flavor of the month but he will be finished after Tuesday and he'll take a beating a week later on Super Tuesday and that will be that.
