Democracy in Egypt: We Want an Islamic State

Mubarak was a brutal dictator.

He only stayed in power because of your American money and weapons.

The average for Egyptian person hated him and knew he was an American puppet dictator.

Which is typical of American foreign-policy.

Mouth the words of democracy for everyone.

But help keep dictators in power.

And we wonder why people in other countries hate us ??

You can make the case that Mubarak was working with the US, however during his reign he kept the border safe and Egypt was never at war with anyone, now that he is gone the Egyptian/Israeli border is experiencing the worst terror attacks in years. Do you really think going to war with Israel would be a good thing for the Egyptians? how would war make life better for the average Egyptian?

Egypt is a sovereign nation.

If they decide to go to war with Israel that is their business.

But I sure hope they wait until Syria removes it's dictator.

That way they can coordinate any military action with Syria.

I don't know Sunni, if I was a betting man my money would be on Israel to mop the floor with both the Syrians and Egyptians. If Egypt and Syria had what it took to take down Israem militarily it would already be done.

Hopefully other nations will join in the next time.

I don't know Sunni, this could all very well be setting the stage for a huge war in the region, we already got the Turks bombing the shit out of the Kurds in northern Iraq and all the other uprisings, this could get very ugly.

In my opinion, Israel really needs to work out a legitimate and equitable peace deal with the Palestinians.

The era of US back puppet dictators is slowly coming to a close.

And the average Arab citizen regardless of country will demand their new government deal harshly with Israel.

Plus slowly the European countries are drifting away from support for the Zionist and Israel.

Israel is a sovereign nation. Egypt's support of terrorism is a violation of international law.

Shouldn't you be committing jihad instead of posting on the internet, slave of allah?

Again, it would appear that the New Egypt is a threat to Israel.

IDF sources said that since Egyptians toppled President Hosni Mubarak’s regime in February, the number of warnings about terror attacks from Sinai has doubled. Arms smuggling into Gaza from Sinai has also surged since Mubarak’s fall. Most of the weapons come from Iran via Sudan, but more recently, arms taken from Libyan army depots left unguarded due to that country’s civil war have also arrived.

Egypt had nothing to do with that.

Egypt has opened the border with Gaza and they are letting people cross into the Sinai to attack Israel so yes they have alot to do with this.

CAIRO, (PIC)-- A special source informed PIC correspondent in Cairo that the number of Egyptian army officers killed by an Israeli airstrike near Rafah has risen to seven, in addition to a number of wounded.

The source that asked not to be identified said that amongst the officers killed are two Brigadiers, which prompted a prominent military official to head a special force to Sinai.

PIC correspondent also said that the revolution youth were preparing for demonstrations on Friday outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo to protest the killing of the Egyptian officers.

A leader of the revolution youth said that a march will head from Tahrir Square after Friday prayers to the Israeli embassy to protest the killing of Egyptian officers and soldiers.
