Somebody from the UK asked me why the UK is in decline.
So I told her this...

Because...

By comparison to other countries, your legal standards for becoming a UK Citizen, are insurmountable and Ridiculous to even attempt to qualify.

By comparison to a Republic, your country is extremely culturally biased, that is unattractive to an Immigrant, and it makes little political sense at all to go from a Republic, to your country, unless that person agrees with your system, which is rare in a Republic.

Your country actually isn't a country, its a superstate made of 4 countries all ruled by London, in England.

The three other countries (other than England) that are part of your London based superstate, are small, weak and ancient, and obsolete by comparison to the outside world.

And why are they obsolete ? because they never needed to keep up with the outside world, because everything there is through London.
That's Baggage on the UK.. not an asset.

Your productivity is very low in the UK, and you lack the variety of other markets, and the things that you make are very expensive, and TODAY... by todays standards, they are PAR for quality... not better.. and THAT, is at best.

Compared to The USA and Japan and South Korea and France.. the UK makes absolutely nothing of the kind.. the UK is a consumer of those kinds of goods, not a producer.

The things that the UK does make, both isn't enough, nor is it competitive with other brands from other countries.

That's basically why the UK is in Decline.
