    chirp from the left!!! Obama and the EPA does not want the us to have more jobs>. Obama is toast! Because these jobs are union jobs.. Unions will soon turn against him

    It really seems sometimes that Obama wants the high unemployment and low wages so he can whip his base up into how evil the Republicans are. But every opportunity to make things better he either ignores or shuts down, and every opportunity to make things worse he grabs at.

    Why should we continue to subsidize a dying technology?

    Fossil fuels receive 5 times the government subsidies that solar and wind do.

    Here's some hints.
    That oil will STILL be there later on and the methods for extracting it safely will only get better and the price can only go up. So what's your hurry to get it out now?

    Higher gas prices, fewer new job opportunities, more reliance on oil from less-than-friendly suppliers...this is a good thing, yes?
