I personally don't care if Israel wants to secure itself; my problem is U.S. involvement with it. We fund Israel to the tune of BILLIONS. U.S. taxpayer dollars built their wall to keep out terrorists. But the very same neocons who support THAT say it's "racist" for the U.S. to have the same thing on the border of Mexico (which, by the way, is likely an entry portal of al Qada terrorists to our country).

Americans refuse to believe anything negative about Israel or Jews. It's if they are perfect and without sin. Americans have bought the entire Israeli agenda hook line and sinker. All it takes is a little willing to take a critical look at the situation and the whole picture begins to fall apart. Dennis Prager had this one guy on, who represented a small group, small, but vocal and passionate. They are very anti Jewish, and they claim the holocaust never happened. Well, safe to say, its impossible to argue reason or logic with such people.

I mean, when I presented the notion to the guy that those who orchastrated the holocaust didnt even deny it occured, they merely all denied responsability.

He had no response, and had to deflect the answer, he basically just spoke on another aspect and ignored my comment. Because he had no answer.

Mine is, there are no such thing as "Palestinians." They were absorbed centuries ago by the Arabs. The so-called "Palestinians" are Transjordan Arabs who were displaced when Israel was given to the Jews.

Transjordan allied itself with Hitler and lost. Too bad. No Nation would accept the Jews, so it was antisemitism that created Israel as much as anything else. They were give a plot of dirt and made a Nation out of it.

Since the creation of Israel, it has been under constant attack by different groups of Middle Eastern terrorists whose collective stated intent is the destruction of Israel.

While you may wish to get lost in the minutia of Israel did this and Israel did that, I maintain the bigger picture view that Israel has the right to exist.

Israel's alliance benefits us in two ways.

1) It's in the frickin' Middle East. For many years, Israel was the only ally we had in the whole region, making it vital to our operations in the Middle East (originally against the Soviets).

2) Israel has one of the best intel services in the world. Mossad is right up there with the CIA, and Shin Bet lacks the moral restraints of other intelligence services, and since Israel doesn't care about world opinion, they can get away with it.

It is my opinion that Israel is a hedged bet against all-out war in the ME. We have kept them out of our military actions to date in the hopes of not alienating supporting or at least neutral ME Nations. If push comes to shove, bet we won't call in our marker.

One of the problems in the ME, as you have illustrated, is post-WWII "business as usual." The West wanted to hold on to the past. The damned Islamoradicals want to hold on to the past. There cannot be many displaced Arabs still living, so you have a whole group of Arabs calling themselves something and claiming rights to something that is long gone in the past. Had they just assimilated anywhere else in the Middle East 50 years ago, this would not be an issue.

In the end, I cannot support a xenophobic race of people whose religion teaches them to destroy all other peoples and religions in the world. And that IS what it boils down to.

Not at all---Israel is under great pressure to treat them in a civil manner. It could cost them millions in aid if they didn't.
