David Broder To Reid - "Shut Up"

and the terrorists are delighted with the Dems surrender plan

are you incapable of doing anything oterhthan cutting and pasting and repeating one liners?

Have a fucking discussion for ONCE. Explain to me how giving encampments and assets to the legitimately elected Iraqi government is any different that Britain doing exactly that in Palestine in 1948.

Why am I not surprised you do not care what the terrorists are saying about the Dems surrender plan?

You should. Dems are doing exactly what they want the Dems to do

no dems are doing what the american people have asked us to do.... I could care less what some raghead says. I am surprised that YOU seem to put so much weight behind the rantings of terrorists.

but then, it is obvious that your party's candidates in the november election had a hard time hearing the voice of the people too.

It is not this one instance

There have been any reports (and tapes) saying the terrorists are delighted the way Dems are running things

The troops are starting to speak out against the Dems - of course the Dems will ignore them as well

reports and tapes of raghead's opinions. Are THOSE really things that you think the congress should be considering when determining foreign policy?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

and since when did anyone in government make foreign policy concerning the use of America's military might based upon what the troops are saying?

YOu think we should determine how to conduct this war against islamic extremism based upon the recorded statements of our enemies and upon the opinions of enlisted troops?

Thank god that morons like YOU are not in the white house..... oh..wait. they are. damn...thankfully only for a little while longer.

Dems want to change US foreign policy so the terrorists wil not hate anymore - why not listen to them in this instance?

Dems are doing exactly what the enemy wants them to do - and your party loyality prevents you from admitting it

the funniest part of this is that RSR refers to David Broder as "very liberal".

that is fucking funny!

It seems other centrists like Broder are taking exception with Broder's commenst

and they are acting in the usual refined and dignified manner that " centrists" are know for

Paul Begala Calls WaPo's Liberal Broder a 'Venomous' 'Gasbag'
Posted by Noel Sheppard on April 27, 2007 - 17:49.
One of the most marvelous aspects of today’s liberal media is how members of “the club” better not say or write anything bad about another member or risk excommunication.

Such is clearly the mantra of CNN’s Paul Begala, who published a scathing rebuke of the Washington Post’s David Broder on Thursday.

In it, he referred to the clearly left-of-center columnist as “a gasbag,” “the Hindenburg of pundits,” who has been “downright venomous lately,” especially with his most recent "bed-wetting tantrum."

And you thought Begala reserved such contempt exclusively for Republicans.

What got Paul in such a snit? Well, Broder had the gall, in a column also published Thursday, to criticize Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada):

You know a nerve was struck by Mr Broder's comments - now Dems have their shorts in a knot and sent a letter to the Washington Post

With a country at war, with their surrender bill being vetoed, and all the problems Dems say need to be solved - they have tiome to do this crap

Senate Democrats Send Letter to WaPo Contesting Broder’s Column About Reid
Posted by Noel Sheppard on April 28, 2007 - 10:22.
Better secure your computer from all combustibles, potables, and sharp objects, sports fans, for the Washington Post published a Letter to the Editor on Friday that is guaranteed to elicit uncontrollable fits of laughter.

Are you ready? Good.

In response to David Broder’s Thursday column about the horrible job Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nevada) is doing as Majority Leader – a sentiment likely an overwhelming majority of Americans share – Senate Democrats actually wrote the Post a complaint letter.

I kid you not.

As the Post didn’t feature this correspondence on the front page – instead including it with the other four “letters” published that day on page A22 – and since Broder wasn’t asked to make a correction or retraction, it doesn’t seem that this puff piece, hysterically titled “Sen. Reid’s Fine Leadership,” was taken very seriously (emphasis added throughout):

We, the members of the Senate Democratic Caucus, contest the attack on Sen. Harry Reid's leadership by David S. Broder in his April 26 column, "The Democrats' Gonzales."

In contrast to Mr. Broder's insinuations, we believe Mr. Reid is an extraordinary leader who has effectively guided the new Democratic majority through these first few months with skill and aplomb.

Doesn’t it make you feel safe knowing that people who believe Harry Reid is “an extraordinary leader who has effectively guided the new Democratic majority through these first few months with skill and aplomb” are in charge of the Senate while our nation is at war?

so now, Begala is a centrist? LOL what point ARE you trying to argue?

Here's a clue: Broder IS a centrist, NOT "very liberal" as you inaccuratedly described him, who goes after folks on both sides equally.

Begala is NOT a centrist.

YOU are a moron...but then, that was NEVER in question.
