So, this guy opens a unique small business way back in the 70s, runs it right, treats his customers right, becomes a local institution.
Then he is invited to the White House and is later spotted in a photo with the President, and...
...people lose their shit and begin organizing to shut his business down.
Unfortunately, the guy opened his stores in the type of Massachusetts area that gives the whole state a bad name. These people are the looniest, limoest, angriest of the left, and as expected they are insufferable assholes. This guy was a beloved local figure until the mob just turned on him in a second for the unforgivable crime of being in a photo with the President.
Not ALL of Massachusetts is like this "Happy Valley" hell-hole. Too much, but not all.
