Trump is trying to sell that his strategy is Tax cutting or fiscal drag
He is also claiming to be a fair trader but nearly all economic gains have been due to cutting regulation or regulatory drag. yeah the USMC is somewhat better than NAFTA
Most of the above is simply fluff except for deregulation.
The EU as a single economy is a larger economy than the USMC and it has turned to Japanese stagnation. China increasingly is going the same way. So even if everything else goes more or less the same way as he expects the likelihood of other things going well are low.
let's say he brain drains Mexico and Canada for all they are worth the rest of the world is mostly going stagnate.
The Blue wall is seeing job and worker losses going full tilt. This will be hard on the US economy but worse on the Democratic party and the MSM conspiracy theorists. That will cause increased political friction.
