I have to drive down to the Silicon Valley area once a week, normally a 3 hr drive from my house on the mountain..

Well.. all through this summer and for the past year it's been a road re-surface extravaganza. It takes upwards of 5 hours now with stops in 5 different locations.. The non-funny part is that these roads didn't even need re-surfacing in the first place but the ones that did are un-touched.

When it comes to waste and abuse, I'm thinking Democrats are the winners..
