DailyKOS Writers Leave Over Hillary Bashing

Self righteous libs have no problem excoriating their own. Hell, they openly bash poor old Bill now and accuse him of being senile after he brought them their version of camelot in the 90's. They'll do the same to Obama in a few years if he somehow manages to win the presidency.

The only thing more revolting than a progressive is a neocon.

The extreme left will turn even on their own. That's right geniuses, go ahead and split your party in half.

Larkinn has answered but I feel we need to say this over and and over again as the Right does not understand the difference between liberals and conservatives. Conservatism today is a sect and not a party, say something that differs from the party line and you are ostracized. Notice how McSame has changed all his positions to fit the ideology. Liberalism is a means and as such we can argue and disagree, conservatism is a doctrine and if you don't believe in its core doctrines out you go. It is why it has failed so badly under Bush.

I would argue that liberalism of the 1700's was a mean. Today, one could argue that liberalism is progressing into socialism.

who the hell really cares about kos writers anyway?

I probably wont give the first rats ass in huffingtonpost implodes either.

I would prefer socialism to the more ideological conservative fascism/communism.

You do realize that fascism and communism used in a sentence to describe each as conservative is completely contradictory. If you are going to comment on political ideology then at least know what the hell the definition of each is.

Neither comment is relevant to socialism. Socialism is another ISM that is an idea rather than a thing. Odd but this definition from Yahoo Answers is pretty good.

yet all those definitions were cited from wikipedia. Though they are essentially correct, please explain how communism is more consevative than socialism. Also, please explain, per your previous post, how communism could be facism.

I disagree, I know well what they are about and conservatism today is closer to both than in the past. Conservatism is a sect today. Just a little hyperbole but given your lack of debate and a few doctrinaire items the comparison is fair.

Wow, that made absolutely no fucking sense. It is rare to that special person that can sound intelligent while spewing indicipherable shit along the way. Congratulations.

Now read the challenge again slowly and take another stab at it.

My point is the ideological nature of conservatism today. Yes, they differ but like communism conservatism is a doctrinaire set of ideas that guide conservatives. Think taxes, guns, government, welfare and you get the idea. Not more conservative but more alike in their methodology.

Is that clearer? I added a few links to show the issue from other points of view.

Right. Guess what. The left does not understand the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberalism today is a sect and not a party. Say something that differs from the party line and you are ostricized.

I notice McCain has changed some of his positions to fit what Republicans/conservatives want. Isn't that what this is about? Representing your consituency ... not pushing your own bullshit agenda?

Liberalism at every attempt tries to destroy whatever rules are in place to maintain the status quo.

Conservatism strives to maintain the status quo.

Neither is more or less a doctrine or "means" than the other. Both are political ideals, and both keep shifting left, so there is no set in stone definition for either. The definition of one is dependent on the stance of the other, and vice versa.

But please don't confuse Democrats and Republicans with liberal and/orconservative idealism. The former don't stand for shit except to oppose whatever the other is for, and each will abandon in a heartbeat their ideals, integrity, and the truth to get one up on the other.

There's nothing honorable going on here on either side and anyone who believes there is needs a reality check.
