This is one of the things that make me hate partisan websites in general. When they almost seem to think that anyone who disagrees with thier worldview doesnt even have the right to HAVE an opposite opinion. Its like they expect anyone who doesnt think like they do to put up no fight, and roll over and take it.
The best thing is they quote someone from the World Wildlife Federation who disagrees with the BP guy. Of course he's gonna say the spill could be worse! Its in his interest just as BP publishing somehting saying the impact would be less.
You need all viewpoints and then have to decide which ones to believe. People like the author of this article think otherwise.
