Cultural Diplomacy in the Economy: A Forum for Young Leaders
Next Weeklong Seminar (22nd – 25thth October 2009, Berlin)​

The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin is currently accepting applications for the forthcoming Forum for Young Leaders: Cultural Diplomacy in the Economy, Berlin, 22nd-25th October 2009.

Cultural Diplomacy in the Global Economy: A Forum for Young Leaders is an active network of individuals interested in the global economy and the ideas of Corporate Social Responsibility and Socially Responsible Investments. The next Weeklong Seminar will focus on the following themes:

1. The use of Cultural Diplomacy as a tool in the Global Economy
2. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Socially Responsible Investments (SRI)
3. The Green New Deal: Green Initiatives & Policies in the Global Economy
4. CSR and SRI in Africa
5. Solutions for the future of the Global Economy

The speakers during the Weeklong Seminar will include leading figures from the fields of academia, politics, business, civil society and the media. Members join the Forum by taking part in a Weeklong Seminar in Berlin, during which they will learn about the potential for economic interdependence to strengthen intercultural relations, and how economic bridges rely upon, and help to support, cultural diplomacy.

A Forum for Young Leaders (CDEC) is open to all individuals with an active interest in economics and international affairs in general.
