Kelo was a travestie. A major corp wanted to get houses on the cheap and abused the eminent domain rules. Conn bought the houses, and the corp backed out. these days the neighborhood is a desert.

Trump thinks stealing private by wealthy folks is perfectly ok.
Christie thinks it sucks too

Do you really think that buying private property is the same as stealing it? Trump offered a million dollars to buy an old lady's home. She refused. End of story. Trump loses.

cruz is a player and will say anything to get elected

i used to support the guy

but the curtain has been pulled back

exposing his progressive nature

he never made an offer to the lady. The only money on offer was the money offered by NJ, a travestie. It is like a robber offering you half 0f bus fare home

Weird. thing is, he supports eminent domain for a FOREIGN, FOR-PROFIT company.
Fuck Cruz and his inconsistent ramblings.

Trump did NOT offer a million dollars.

Another corporation and investor offered it to her, she refused. That business went bankrupt, then trump bought that business, and offered the old lady $250k for her home, $750,000 LESS than her initial offer from the other company, she said no.

Trump built the casino around her home, then trump declared bankruptcy and another investor came in and bought Trumps debt out, and that investor paid the old lady $500k for the home.

Could you expound on that? Progressive nature? I have seen nothing to suggest it, maybe you could enlighten me...
He supports the corporate whore TPP. IDK if its "progressive" but it sucks a butt-load of shit.

Assuming it is true, and I am not saying it isn't, you are correct, it is not consistant. Sadly, I was only able to find direct references to this on clearly biased sites/shows. Are there objective, or even conservative, places that discuss this? I am quite curious. Also, are you aware of anywhere that I could find direct information, from Cruz, on this topic? I am currently a Cruz supporter, and this would weight on my continued support for him. I really would like to know where he stands, in detail.

Paul and Cruz Disagree Over TPP, Here's Why...
He voted YES on fast track trade authority
And despite what his campaign website says about the TPP, there is PLENTY of info on it. AGAIN, he is full of shit.

According to the update at the bottom of the article, "Republicans all voted to allow debate on the matter." This seems to contradict your statement that Cruz "...voted YES..." Apparently, he did support fast tracking, then voted to debate... interesting. I wonder why the change of heart... Will have to do further research into this.

Exclusive -- Ted Cruz: Obamatrade Enmeshed in Corrupt, Backroom Dealing
This seems to clear things up, a bit at least, for me. Still, I wonder why he took McConnell "at his word"...

Voted to debate the TPP. It was 2 different votes. The republicans called debate because they are going to pass it. The corporate right is who is ALWAYS pushing globalist/corporate policies.
On Cruzs website, he said he is still waiting on info. However, this is ALOT of info about the TPP out there. Like how 500 or so corporations were at the negotiation table, It reduces environmental and labor regulations, threatens collective bargaining rights and internet security ETC ETC ETC. We are poise to lose 150K or so jobs to Vietnam and japan ALONE.
BTW, a couple countries voted on TPP a few days ago.
