    LOL, you ask as though you would have a choice. There was no going back and no 'enduring' that torture. Even Jesus died as a result of crucifixion. Although, there is no way to keep God down so he decided to come back ;)

    This is yet another disturbing illogical leap on Christianity. How can mere men kill a God? And according to the bible, if God created all men, and they were full of sin, who would have to be the originator of that sin? So the only thing I can come up with is that the bibleGod had his son tortured and killed to fix a problem that he himself is culpable for. The bibleGod could've given us free will with the natural tendency not to choose to sin. Jesus had free will but never sinned, so what's the bibleGod's excuse?
