Creation of Universe in Abrahamic faiths

I would like to have a discussion on the creation of the universe in Abrahamic texts, Torah, Bible and Koran. Now, if you want to argue that you don't hold a book sacred, please stay out. Come into this discussion acknowledging that we will discuss verses in all these religious texts and how they describe creation of the universe. I'm not trying to make a creationist vs evolutionist thread. This is religious examining and discussion of verses which indicate the creation of the Universe and addresses the people who have discovered the 'great explosion theory' but still don't believe as it says in one of these verses. So thanks for taking your time and lets have a kind discussion. Thank you.......

Again...the authors of the Koran merely parrot Biblical material. In the case of creation, even the authors of the Koran admit to the Biblical ex-nihilo....
