Yes, Jimmy deserved it! Mainly for his social impact on the game IMHO with respect to older NFL fans and especially via his unique voice and that Hollywood appearance he has always exuded.

In terms of actual productivity, his Cowboys teams were stacked so that might've been less about his coaching ability. Especially considering his overall, mediocre record as a NFL coach. Over his NFL career, I think his teams' avg record per season is 9-7.
