Austria warns against cow-kissing internet challenge

The #KuhKussChallenge ("Cow Kiss Challenge") is being sent around in an effort to raise money for charity.

The problem?


Cows tend to be protective of their young and weird people wandering around trying to kiss them might cause problems – for the humans.

But Austrian Agriculture Minister Elisabeth Koestinger branded the challenge a "dangerous nuisance" in a statement on Thursday.

"Pastures and meadows are not petting zoos -- actions like these could have serious consequences," she added, pointing out that cows could become aggressive when defending their calves.

Ah well. There goes an idyllic stroll in the Alps down the tube.

That's one of the worst parts about having a romantic relationship with a cow. You have to walk all the way to the other end just to kiss them. That's what I heard anyway.
