In Marion County a Judge has ruled that identifying information for Internet users who posted anonymous comments against Jeffery Miller on online forums must be turned over to him. This is a libel lawsuit and the people who vented on line are listed as defendants. One site has complied but the Indy star is resisting.

So watch what you say, because you may end up in court being sued for libel!!!

This is, I think, the result of a law passed about five or six years ago making anonymous posters responsible if the target of their comments is known.
"If you accuse somebody of committing a crime of thievery, that is defamation, and we believe that is what they are saying," said Miller's attorney, Kevin Betz. "The Internet is not a license to defame people and treat them in a mean-spirited way that harms them psychologically and economically."

Unless I know your real name you are just an NPC to me on the Internet

I wonder if an NPC is supposed to be loyal to other NPCs who show no loyalty to the first NPC?

Ohhh, who cares. It's the interwebs.
